Expressing confidence of winning the Lok Sabha elections, former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader V Narayanasamy on Sunday said that "BJP will be wiped out in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu."
Noting that unemployment and rising prices were the real issues in the Lok Sabha polls, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said that the polls were also for saving the constitution and democracy in the country "which were under continuous attack from the BJP and the RSS".
Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in the country, BJP spokesperson NV Subhash lashed out at the Congress pointing out that they are "anti-Hindu and anti-country".
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Centre is working towards benefitting selected businessmen in the country adding that key public infrastructure in the country has been handed over to them to make profits.

Union Minister Meenakashi Lekhi hit out at Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, alleging that his constituency, Wayanad, has not at all benefited from his leadership.
