Israel is preparing to send search and rescue personnel and humanitarian aid to Morocco after an earthquake killed more than 1,000 in the North African country on Friday.
According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), an earthquake of magnitude 4.4 on the Richter scale hit at Rajasthan's capital city, Jaipur, around 4.10 am, and it was followed by two more earthquakes of magnitudes 3.1 and 3.4 respectively.
The quake occured at 01:02:12 (IST) at a depth of 100 km. According to NCS, the epicentre of the earthquake was found to be at 36.58°N and 71.81°E respectively.
