Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met the rescued workers during his visit on Wednesday to the Chinyalisaur Community Health Centre, where they are undergoing treatment.

After 17 days of tense anticipation, relief and happiness enveloped the faces of the family members of 41 trapped workers upon receiving news of their successful rescue from the Silkyara tunnel on Tuesday evening.
After the successful rescue of 41 workers from the Silkyara tunnel on Tuesday evening, Dr Pravin Kumar, Health Director of Garhwal Division, in charge of the rescue operation, highlighted that constant communication with the trapped workers helped in maintaining their mental health stability
As the trapped workers were safely rescued from the Silkyara tunnel on Tuesday evening, their family members and relatives in different parts of the country burst into joy and celebrated the moment like Diwali by bursting crackers.
After the 41 workers were brought out safely from the Silkyara tunnel at the end of a determined 17-day effort on Tuesday, NDRF Deputy Inspector General Mohsen Shahidi said, "Rescuing 41 trapped workers itself was a challenge."
After the successful evacuation of all 41 workers who were trapped inside Uttarakhand's Silkyari tunnel for 17 days, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Tuesday expressed gratitude to all those who were behind the rescue operation.
All 41 men, who were rescued from the collapsed tunnel after 17 days, have been brought to the Community Health Centre in Chinyalisaur for primary medical treatment.
"Our 41 brave workers have emerged victorious today after 17 days, overcoming the uncertainty, darkness and bitter cold of the tunnel under construction in Uttarakhand," CM Soren wrote in a post on 'X'.
