After 19 opposition parties announced a boycott of the inauguration of the new Parliament building, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi on Wednesday said that it is a historical occasion and not the time for politics.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday emphasized the need to study old and least controversial laws during the process of converting government policies into laws.
"I'm happy that people are celebrating this festival of democracy in a big way. People are interested to bring BJP's double-engine government. BJP will form a government on its own," Joshi said.
Speaking to ANI, Union Minister Joshi said, "Earlier, Priyanka Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also came to Karnataka. No matter who comes to the state for the election campaign, BJP will return to power in the state with a full majority."
