BJP MP Anurag Thakur came down heavily on Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole on Tuesday over his alleged "dog" remarks at BJP during a public rally in the run-up to the state assembly elections.
The first phase of elections in Jharkhand is scheduled to take place on Wednesday and the second phase is scheduled for November 20. The votes will be counted on November 23.

Ahead of the first phase of polling in Jharkhand, state Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) K. Ravi Kumar said that all political workers including political leaders who are not the voters will not be present at the voting constituency during the polling process.
