Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra on Monday said that the job of the Election Commission of India is not to attack the opposition, adding that the poll body carried out a "shameful display of puppetry" in its media interaction yesterday.
Uttar Pradesh Minister Anil Rajbhar on Monday took a swipe at Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav over his remarks on the Election Commission, stating that if Yadav had any doubts about the poll body, he should have approached the court.
Also, responding to Rahul Gandhi's recent allegations against the Election Commission, Bharti said the poll body listens to complaints and acts accordingly.
