Himachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party Chief Rajiv Bindal on Thursday said that the new parliament created a history by passing the Women's Reservation Bill.
Union Minister Arjun Munda said that the Lok Sabha took a historic decision by passing the Women's Reservation Bill on Wednesday and women would get an opportunity to excel in every field once this is implemented.
Earlier today, Lok Sabha passed the Women’s Reservation Bill which provides for 33 per cent reservation for women in the lower house of the Parliament and state assemblies.
