Three people were killed after a small plane on Sunday (US local time) crashed into a California airport hangar as it was taking off, authorities said, CNN reported.
Videos of the plane pouring water on a fire were posted on social media by the state broadcaster ERT. After that, it is seen falling into a mountainside and catching fire.
"A civilian Antonov plane today crashed in Port Sudan Airport as a result of a technical failure, leading to the death of 9 people including 4 military personnel. One child survived the crash," the Sundanese Army said in a Facebook post.
The incident took place on Saturday afternoon near Martha’s Vineyard Airport in West Tisbury, Massachusetts. The 79-year-old male pilot suffered the emergency during the plane’s final approach, Massachusetts State Police said.
A Cessna business jet crashed close to French Valley Airport in the wee hours of Saturday in Murrieta, California, reported CNN citing Federal Aviation Administration.

A total of three civilians were killed after the wreckage of an Indian Air Force MiG-21 fell on a house in Rajasthan's Hanumangarh district on Monday morning.
The pilot of the aircraft, however, ejected safely with minor injuries, the IAF said adding a military helicopter has reached the accident site for rescue operations.
The flight was occupied by four people, William Lumpkin, 64, and Patricia Lumpkin, 68, both from Fishers, were killed, as were Rick Beaver, 60, and Bethe Beaver, 57, both from Noblesville.
