With an attempt to combat climate change and promote sustainable transportation, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has introduced an initiative called CarbonLite Metro Travel to educate passengers about their contribution towards reducing carbon emissions, said officials on Wednesday.
Customs department on late Tuesday recovered gold weighing over 500 grams, estimated to be worth about Rs 25. 75 lakhs, from a passenger at Cochin International Airport in Kerala, officials said.

The system aims to enhance the digital experience for passengers, where they will now be scanned at checkpoints using facial recognition and improved biometrics. Passengers using Digi yatra ID can enter the terminal building from departure gate-2 after biometric facial recognition.
