Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Minister Parvesh Verma and BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj on Wednesday inspected the work of covering the Sunheri Pul drain near Lodhi Road.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta visited the Sunehari Pulla Depot along with Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena and PWD Minister Parvesh Verma. Earlier, Gupta visited and examined the Barapulla drain on Sunday.
After the inspection, Rekha Gupta interacted with the reporters and said that the previous governments never took these drains seriously. She said that they were never cleaned, and the agencies were unclear as to who would clean them.
The ongoing drainage work on Rohtak Road, spanning approximately 18 km (9 km on each side), began in February and is expected to be completed within the next 14 months.
Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma on Saturday took stock of the drainage work near Rajdhani park at the Rohtak Road in the national capital and said that no representative of the Delhi government ever came here.
