"Our priority is development", says Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma

Minister Parvesh Verma said, "For years, no work was done in Delhi because there was no intent. The situation has now worsened to the point where we need to act on a war footing to provide relief to the people. Concrete steps are being taken to repair roads, clean sewers, and clear drains. Our priority is development, and within the next 100 days, the people of Delhi will see visible change. We will make every effort to resolve as many constituency issues as possible. The BJP government does not just make promises; we work to serve the people."

New Delhi [India], March 17 (ANI): To resolve long-pending issues in Delhi, Public Works Department Minister Parvesh Verma has taken a major step to accelerate development work. Now, every MLA is directly presenting the problems of their constituencies to officials, and concerned departments are being given immediate instructions for resolution, his office said in an official statement.
Minister Verma stated, "Earlier, no work was done because there was no intent, but now the BJP government will work on a war footing to provide relief to Delhi residents." Minister Verma emphasized that the impact of this initiative will be visible on the ground within the next 100 days.
The meeting was attended by officials from PWD, the Delhi Jal Board, and the Irrigation & Flood Control Department. Notably, officials from the specific zones where the constituencies are located were present, ensuring a localized approach to problem-solving.
Key issues addressed in the meeting include: Repair of roads and drains, Sewer cleaning and drainage management, Flooding and waterlogging solutions, Action against illegal encroachments and Speeding up pending development projects

The meeting saw discussions on the issues of multiple constituencies, including Trilokpuri, Patparganj, Laxmi Nagar (East Zone), Mundka, Nangloi Jat, Moti Nagar, Madipur (West Zone), Manglapuri, Shakarpur, Kirari (North-West Zone), and others.
Minister Parvesh Verma reiterated that the BJP government is committed "not just to politics, but to serving the people of Delhi". (ANI)
