Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare and BJP's candidate from Barmer-Jaisalmer constituency, Kailash Choudhary, on Friday casted his vote at a polling booth in the constituency. Taking to his official X handle, Choudhary appealed to the citizens to vote and tweeted, "
"The second phase of polls in five parliamentary constituencies in Assam will be held tomorrow. There are 9133 polling stations which have been set up and more than 77 lakh voters are going to vote. Almost 8000 polling parties have already left from the respective District Commissioner, SDO
Under the mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) seat sharing arrangement in the State, of a total 40 Parliamentary seats, Congress will contest on nine while alliance partner Rashtriya Janata Dal on 26 and three Left parties on five seats.
