Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju and MoS Arjun Ram Meghwal met with the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, and Rajya Sabha LoP Mallikarjun Kharge amid the ruckus in the Parliament by the Opposition, BJP MP Jagadambika Pal said on Friday.

Opposition MPs began sloganeering earlier in the day as the Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh declined the Rule 267 notices for the Suspension of Business.
"There's a way to register a protest. If you don't want to run the Parliament...the house is adjourned till 2:00 PM today," Birla said while addressing the lower house.
Several senior Congress leaders, including the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, and party leader Priyanka Gandhi, also participated in the protest. The MPs marched from the Gandhi statue on the Parliament premises ahead of the start of the day's session.
"This is not mere negligence but a well-planned conspiracy--to keep Bahujans out of education, research, and policymaking. Due to inadequate participation of Bahujans in universities, the issues of marginalised communities are deliberately excluded from research and discourse," Gandhi posted

Chowdhury expressed concerns that the ongoing voter list revision drive in Bihar poses a "risk of disenfranchising millions" and raised questions about the "fairness" of the process due to "opaque guidelines."
