The court on Tuesday ordered the requisition and deployment of central forces in all areas declared sensitive by the State Election Commission (SEC) for the polls.
"Congress, Left and BJP are behind the violence in Murshidabad panchayat elections. For the last several elections, all three parties together want to defeat Mamta Banerjee in the elections, but Mamta Banerjee is winning the elections with more seats in every election," the TMC MP said.

In his letter, MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury mentioned that a reign of terror has been created in the area with a view to preventing the candidates from filing their nominations for the upcoming West Bengal Panchayat elections in Domkal Block.
While addressing a press conference, BJP MP Raju Bista said," We have requested for central forces. We have made a request to the centre regarding that. Congress is also demanding, the High Court should also take note of this. If we want free and fair elections then it is necessary."
West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Sukanta Majumdar met with Governor CV Ananda Bose on Saturday in Raj Bhavan over the upcoming panchayat elections in the state.
