West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee will kick-start her full-scale campaign for the July 8 panchayat elections in the state on Monday.
The administration and Bolpur police also joined hands with the central forces to ensure that the election process could be done peacefully in the Panchayat elections.
Days after Calcutta High Court ordered the West Bengal State Election Commission (SEC) to requisition Central Forces within 24 hours for deployment in panchayat elections, one company of paramilitary force reached Jalpaiguri on Friday evening.
The court's directive specifies that the number of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) companies should not be less than those requisitioned for the 2013 panchayat polls.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to interfere with the Calcutta High Court's order regarding the deployment of central forces in West Bengal for the upcoming panchayat elections and dismissed the plea challenging it.
A vacation bench comprising Justice BV Nagarathna and Justice Manoj Misra rejected the plea filed by the West Bengal State Election Commission and WB State.
Several complaints of violence, murder and intimidation were received at the 'Peace Room' which was set up by West Bengal Governor C V Ananda, the Governor said on Monday.

"Every time there are elections in West Bengal, violence erupts. But there is no attempt to stop the violence because the party in power is doing it," Ghosh alleged.
"The ruling party in West Bengal is leaving no stone unturned to create an atmosphere of terror. It is impossible to hold panchayat elections in Bengal without tension and violence," said Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.
