According to a spokesperson of Faridabad police, Bittu Bajranig, accused of raising slogans in front of a female police officer in Nuh with weapons like swords, was arrested after questioning.

"The religious organisations have told the Panchayat that their Yatra is incomplete and they want the Yatra to resume on 28th August. The panchayat has agreed to their demand and supported them," Ratan Singh, a Member of the panchayat said.
Palwal Superintendent of Police Lokendra Singh, while talking to ANI, said, “Permission for the (Mahapanchayat) has been granted on several conditions."
"Whereas it has been brought to my notice by Deputy Commissioner Nub that the law and order situation has been reviewed and the conditions are still critical and tense in the district," the statement said.
The court asked ASG to seek instructions from the Centre and inform it about the committee on the next date of the hearing to look into the cases of hate speech.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court Chandigarh held a hearing on Friday regarding the Nuh violence case. The matter was adjourned, and the next hearing will be before the Chief Justice, as only the Chief Justice hears Su Moto and PIL cases, officials said.
A nine-member delegation of senior Haryana Congress leaders, visiting Nuh district, where violence broke out days ago, was stopped by the police on Tuesday.
Following a number of occurrences, including calls for a Muslims boycott and the closing of mosques in Gurugram, the Supreme Court received a new petition seeking to initiate appropriate action against the speakers who instigated communal disharmony.
"We have started the bus services from Nuh to Jaipur, Gurugram, and other nearby regions. Services have been resumed on a routine basis," a roadways official told ANI.
