The Central Government, through the Ministry of Law and Justice, has approved the appointment of advocates Amitabh Kumar Rai and Rajiv Lochan Shukla as Judges of the Allahabad High Court.
Three newly appointed judges-- Shail Jain, Madhu Jain, and Vinod Kumar were formally sworn in at the Delhi High Court on Thursday, raising the court's working strength to 43 judges, against a sanctioned total of 60.
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, presided over the swearing-in ceremony of eight new judges at Dubai Courts. The ceremony, held at Al Shindagha Majlis, was attended by senior officials, including Maktoum bin Mohammed and Ahmed bin Mohammed.
The event was attended by all sitting judges of the Delhi High Court, Bar leaders, several other advocates, and family members of the newly appointed judges.
