"There will be no rebel (candidates) from BJP or Mahayuti. We will contest elections together. Mahayuti will get a bigger mandate than in 2019 and form government. Those who did not get tickets should withdraw their nominations," Mahajan told ANI.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday maintained the party's stand and said that there is no speculation about Nawab Malik being part of the government if the Mahayuti alliance wins the upcoming assembly elections.
Bharatiya Janata Party's Maharashtra president Chandrashekhar Bawankule hit out at Congress on Wednesday, claiming that the party has "ditched the Muslim community" ahead of the state's assembly elections.
