Mumbai customs arrested two passengers and seized gold and foreign currency worth lakhs at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) in Maharashtra, officials said on Saturday.
One Kenyan passenger was arrested as the Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone-III seized 482.66 gms of narcotic drugs worth approximately Rs 4.83 Crore, Mumbai Customs said.

Mumbai customs arrested four people for smuggling and seized gold over 6.815 Kg valued at Rs 4.44 crore and diamond worth Rs 2.02 in three days, said officials.
The Airport Commissionerate of Mumbai Customs found the gold concealed in various forms, like gold dust in wax, crude jewelry and gold bars in an ingenious way inside and on the body of pax and in the baggage.
In these cases, the gold was found concealed in clothes worn, on the body of the passenger and on the underside of a baggage trolley, the Customs officials added.
