The National Investigation Agency (NIA) said today that it has successfully secured the extradition of Rana, the mastermind of the deadly 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, after years of sustained and concerted efforts to bring the key conspirator behind the 2008 mayhem to justice.
Foreign Affairs Expert Sushant Sareen has welcomed the extradition of Tahawwur Rana, accused in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, saying it's a victory for the law, adding that "India will never forget or spare (accused)..."
NIA had secured Rana's extradition following years of sustained and concerted efforts and after the terror mastermind's last-ditch efforts to get a stay on his extradition from the US failed.
Senior Advocate Dayan Krishnan and Special Public Prosecutor for NIA, Advocate Narender Mann, arrived at Patiala House Court in Delhi ahead of Tahawwur Rana's appearance before the court.
