CPI(M)'s UR Pradeep is leading in Chelakkara Assembly seat, counting for which began on Saturday morning, as per the early trends from the Election Commission of India.
Earlier today, Chief Electoral Officer K Ravi Kumar said that the first round of EVM results expected to be announced by 9:30 am with counting of postal ballots begining earlier at 8 this morning.
