IMD scientist, HR Biswas on Friday said that rainfall activity has occurred in the last 24 hours and due to low pressure in the North-West Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Odisha coast and West Bengal coast its influence is going to cause light to moderate rainfall for the next 24 hours

IMD Shimla issued the forecast at 3:00 PM today and said, "In the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of moderate rain in Bilaspur, Chamba, Hamirpur, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Shimla, Sirmaur, Solan, Una, Kinnaur, Lahaul, Spiti and heavy to very heavy rain at one or two places."
