The regional meteorologist has predicted that rainfall can be recorded over 204 mm in those eight districts in the state including Guna, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Raisen, Narmadapuram, Sehore and Harda.
A regional meteorologist has also predicted that along with a very heavy rainfall alert in the five districts namely Burhanpur, Khargone, Dewas, Harda and Betul, there is heavy rainfall in 22 districts in the state in the next 24 hours.
The regional meteorologist has predicted that heavy rainfall can be recorded in eastern Madhya Pradesh in the coming five days while districts of Western MP which include Rajgarh, Barwani, Alirajpur and Jhabua are likely to receive rainfall on Wednesday.
The regional meteorologist has predicted that very heavy rainfall can be recorded from 115mm to 204 mm at six places in the state which include Sehore, Rajgarh, Agar Malwa, Sheopur Kalan and Morena.
The Met office also said that the temperature recorded a decline in the state right now. The temperature in the entire state recorded around 30 to 32 degree celsius for the time being and the conditions were likely to remain the same as of now.
The MeT office also stated there is a possibility of strong wind with a speed of 60 to 70 kilometres per hour at some places in southern and south-eastern Madhya Pradesh.
"Arunachal Pradesh is likely to get heavy (64.5-115.5 mm) to very heavy rainfall (115.5-204.4 mm) on 17th & 18th June, 2024," the met office said in a post on 'X'.

"Besides, there is a possibility of severe heatwave in Gwalior, Bhind, Datia, Morena and Niwari districts in the state. A red alert has been issued in these areas and the temperature here today will be around 46/47 degree celsius," the meteorologist said.
