In the wake of resignation of Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh, Deputy Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha, Gaurav Gogoi claimed that his resignation was aimed to save the BJP government in the state.
Congress leader Udit Raj slammed Bharatiya Janata Party following Manipur Chief Minister Biren Singh resignation nearly two years after violence marred the state.

The Supreme Court on Monday sought the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) report on the examination of certain leaked audio tapes which allegedly implicate Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh for instigating ethnic violence in the state.
