Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha visited New Delhi on June 13 for a courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence and congratulated him for completing 9 Years of his governance.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday said that the 'National Education Policy' (NEP) was formulated focussing on the culture and heritage of the country.
The visit was scheduled under the Bharatiya Janata Party's Vikas Tirth which falls under Mega Jan Sampark Campaign, a month-long program on the completion on nine years of Modi governance.
Tripura Film & Television Institute (TFTI) is going to be merged with SRFTI, Satyajit Ray Film & Television Institute, Kolkata and this has widened the perspective of the courses.
"Keeping in view the emergency of patients at the Badharghat area of Agartala city, an Ambulance Service was very essential & demand of the situation", said Dr Tushar, Vivekananda Club.
"Money is spent on the welfare of poor people. PM Modi is working to build a corruption-free government. Previous government means corruption and scandal. Swachh Sarkar is another name of PM Modi's government," CM said.

"The proposed projects are expected to have a positive impact on Tripura's economic growth and development", said the Chief Minister while addressing a meeting of Niti Aayog in New Delhi.
"Today, met Tipra Motha Chief Shri @PradyotManikya Ji at his palace after getting news of his poor health conditions. We also discussed various issues pertaining to the interest of the state. I provided warm wishes to him for his speedy recovery," CM Saha tweeted.
"We want to increase tourism in Tripura. There are many places in Tripura where tourists should visit. The whole world knows Sourav Ganguly so it will attract tourists here," said Tripura CM.
