Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday said that he will participate in the opposition parties' meeting, scheduled to be held on Friday, in Bihar's Patna.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Friday asserted that the panchayat poll nomination process was peaceful, and slammed the opposition parties for trying to create an issue over some sporadic incidents.
"People of Bengal are with Mamata Banerjee. It is a court verdict, everybody has to accept it but do not forget that the votes will be given by the voters," he said.
The nomination process for the upcoming panchayat elections in West Bengal was marred by ongoing violence on Thursday, as the ruling Trinamool Congress and opposition parties engaged in a war of words.
