Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday greeted people who are at Sangam here on 'Paush Purnima' on the first day of Maha Kumbh and said around 15 million devotees took the holy dip.
He said that the police personnel remain deployed as the rush of devotees continues at Sangam and the police administration was surveilling the area via drones. The DGP added that no information about any mishap has been reported.
Speaking to ANI, Maurya said, "I have no reaction to give on this. It will be good if such controversial subjects do not arise as the conduct of MahaKumbh is a moral responsibility for the entire state. We are all filled with the sentiment of 'Atithi Devo Bhav'."
