A series of earthquakes hit Tibet on Thursday, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) stated, the most recent one being a 4.7 magnitude earthquake on the Richter Scale.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10km, and occurred at a latitude of 28.39 N, and 87.39 E longitude, according to the National Center of Seismology.
A 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck Dingri County in Xigaze City, located in the Tibet Autonomous Region, at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday (Beijing Time), resulted in 32 fatalities and 38 injuries, Xinhua reported, citing regional disaster relief authorities.
An earthquake of magnitude 7.1 on the Richter Scale jolted Nepal's Lobuche on Tuesday, the USGS Earthquakes reported. Meanwhile, the National Centre of Seismology reported a series of earthquakes in the Tibet region.
