Himachal Pradesh Traffic, Tourist and Railways Police on Sunday urged tourists and local residents not to undertake non-essential travel amid frequent landslides and rock fall at various places.
National Highway 205 (NH 205) was on Sunday blocked at Dakesh in the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh due to a landslide, said authorities. They also said that two trucks and one light motor vehicle were damaged in the landslide

Amid incessant rainfall, repeated instances of landslides and rockslides have been witnessed in several districts of the hill state, said the officials on Saturday.
Following the heavy rainfall and deadly floods in the Bandarban district of Bangladesh, a lot of people who took refugee in shelter homes have now returned to their homes, reported Dhaka Tribune citing District Commissioner Shah Mujahid Uddin.
Brijesh Bhatt, District Disaster Officer of Tehri Garhwal, said that the Rishikesh-Chamba National Highway-94 is closed due to heavy debris and boulders coming near Bagadhar.
"The National Highway 5 near Chakki Mod near Parwanoo in Solan district is closed again due to the landslide. Restoration work is underway,' the Solan police informed.
