BJP MLA Shankar Ghosh on Monday alleged an attack on him and Malda North MP Khagen Murmu in Nagrakata, North Bengal, while distributing relief materials for people affected by the flood and landslides in the State.

Arun Sigchi, an Executive Member of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration, Darjeeling and Kalimpong, on Monday confirmed 11 dead and at least 9 injured in Mirik, out of the 18 casualties after a massive landslide in West Bengal's Darjeeling.
