A delegation of Congress leaders led by Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) spokesperson M Lakshmana and Mysuru District Congress Committee President B J Vijaykumar on Wedneday submitted a fresh complaint at Devaraja police station in Mysuru.
Newly elected Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy DK Shivakumar on Sunday paid tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his 32nd death anniversary, in the Congress office in Bengaluru.
"Delay in deciding the CM despite getting a full majority shows a lack of unity in the party. The Congress Party must stop playing politics, select a new CM and serve the people by forming the government", Bommai said.
According to party sources the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) chief DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah, a former CM and leader of Opposition, the two main contenders for the chief minister's post will meet with Rahul Gandhi at 10 Janpath.
Amid speculation regarding his visit to Delhi, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) chief DK Shivakumar said that he won't be travelling to the national capital today due to a "stomach infection".

The Election Commission on Saturday issued notice to Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar in the context of a complaint received from BJP for a newspaper advertisement alleging "unsubstantiated but specific information".
"I will approach the High Courts; I will fight till the last breath. I believe in a court of law. I still believe they have done an injustice. Everything is transparent," said Shivakumar, the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) President.
