The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced on Thursday that services on the Magenta Line between Botanical Garden and Kalkaji Mandir will be delayed.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA and leader of opposition in Delhi assembly Atishi lashed out at Delhi government under the BJP following a demolition drive at the Bhoomiheen Camp in South Delhi's Kalkaji Extension on Wednesday and claimed that Many families did not have a place to sleep.
Earlier today, Senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Delhi Assembly Atishi lashed out at Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on the demolition drive carried out at Kalkaji area's Bhoomihini camp.
"BJP is going to demolish these jhuggis tomorrow and I am being jailed today because I am raising my voice for these slum dwellers. 'BJP aur Rekha Gupta ko jhuggi waalon ki haay lagegi.' ... BJP will never come back," Atishi said.
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has issued an official notice to all residents of Bhoomihin Camp in Kalkaji Extension regarding the demolition of illegal huts, following an order by the Hon'ble Court, as per the statement.
"Today is Ram Navami and the last Navratri of Navratri. I sought the blessings of the Mother and prayed that she grants us enough strength so that we can pave the way for Delhi's progress," Delhi CM told reporters here.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini offered prayers at Prachin Shree Kali Mata Mandir, Kalka, on Friday and said that he prayed for the well-being of the people of the state and nation.
According to the petition, Atishi is accused of engaging in the corrupt practice of "bribery" as defined under Section 123(1)(A) of the Representation of People Act, 1951.
"The biggest loser is AAP... they lost the polls, they lost everything, we have lost nothing. It is clear that Congress has performed better than earlier, our vote percentage has increased..." Lamba said speaking to ANI.
