Chandrashekhar stoked a controversy after he claimed that Ramcharitmanas, an epic Hindu religious book which is based on Ramayana, "spreads hatred in the society".
"This state has developed due to the work of many great people. BJP state unit president Nalin Kumar Kateel is going to ruin the future of the youth of the state in the name of love jihad," he added.
Chandrashekhar stoked a controversy after he claimed that Ramcharitmanas, an epic Hindu religious book which is based on Ramayana, "spreads hatred in the society".
"The statement will directly benefit BJP. The topic he spoke on is an agenda of BJP. Speaking on BJP's agenda means playing on their pitch. If we play there, who will benefit? BJP," Kushwaha told ANI.

As the 'anti-encroachment drive' against the accused involved in the case raised eyebrows, the authority claimed that it was removing illegal portions of the house.
