Railway authorities have appointed a high-level committee to investigate the stampede that took place at New Delhi Railway Station on February 15, a police officer said. The officer also emphasised that the inquiry into the tragic incident, which resulted in 18 deaths and numerous injuries,
The railways said the committee has initiated a High-Level Inquiry (HAG) into the incident. As part of the investigation, the committee has ordered the securing of all video footage from the Railway Station to aid in the probe.
After the two-member committee was formed to investigate the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station, officials have started examining CCTV footage and collecting evidence.
