Addressing a press conference, the Congress leader claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would steal elections in Bihar, West Bengal and Assam.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bihar and West Bengal on August 22. He will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple development projects worth around Rs 13,000 crore at Gaya in Bihar at around 11 am.

He claimed that in Bihar, credible reports have emerged indicating that a large number of living voters have been falsely marked as deceased and consequently deleted from the rolls.
A series of complaints were filed regarding the deletion of voter names from electoral rolls in various districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Kasganj, Jaunpur, Barabanki, and Nawada in Bihar. However, investigations into these complaints have revealed discrepancies and baseless claims.
Reacting to Pakistan and Oman pulling out of the upcoming Asia Cup Hockey in Bihar, former India hockey captain and Congress MLA Pargat Singh dismissed the concerns raised by the two nations and said there was no such issue in India.
The upcoming Asia Cup Hockey in Rajgir, Bihar, has seen some changes, with Pakistan and Oman withdrawing from the tournament. The event, scheduled from August 29 to September 7, will now welcome Bangladesh and Kazakhstan as replacements.

Tejashwi Yadav was addressing the people during Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's Voter Adhikaar Yatra in Bihar's Nawada. He said that names of poor people have been removed from the voter list, whereas those who are alive are declared dead.
