Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jairam Thakur on Sunday conducted roadshows as part of the campaign for Himachal Pradesh assembly elections in the Balh Assembly constituency of Mandi district.
In the 'Sankalp Patra' or manifesto, which was unveiled by national party president JP Nadda in the presence of Chief Minister Jayaram Thakur, the BJP has also pledged to conduct a survey to check for illegal activities, if any, in all Waqf properties across the state.
Ghulam Nabi on Sunday exuded confidence in the Congress party months after exiting it. He said only Congress could challenge BJP in Gujarat and Himachal assembly polls. Lambasting AAP, he said that it is merely a party of UT Delhi and can't run Punjab efficiently.
Addressing a public rally in Himachal's Una, Shah said, "Congress didn't respect our religious places for appeasement politics. PM Modi laid the foundation of Ram Janmabhoomi and redeveloped the Kashi corridor and religious places in Ujjain, Kedarnath and Badrinath."
"Congress party doesn't believe in its own manifesto and there's no vision, weightage, and direction in it. Our manifesto is done with due diligence and is taken seriously by people," Nadda said while speaking to the media.
