CM Bommai engaged in a door-to-door campaign in Konanakere, Chandapura, Jakkinakatti, Yattinahalli, Dundasi, and Mamadapura tandas in the poll-bound Karnataka's Shiggaon constituency on Tuesday.
As the high-voltage campaigning for the Karnataka Assembly elections concluded and with only hours left for the voting, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Tuesday requested the people of Karnataka to vote for development, progress and efficient governance.
"The people of Congress who were trying to make their party's wave through lies in Karnataka, their lies are now lost in the BJP wave. Those who think Congress still has something left in Karnataka must come and see here," PM Modi said.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday, held a roadshow in Haveri's Ranibennur while campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections.
Bommai who has been fielded from the Shiggaon Assembly constituency in the Haveri district will file his nomination today. He has been holding this seat since 2008.
During his visit Nadda will be visiting Hubli and Shiggaon (Haveri) and participate in several public programmes and organisational meetings including visiting some key mutts of Hubli district, an official statement from the party said.
The Karnataka Government on Monday issued the orders appointing Vice-Chancellors for the newly established Universities of Chamarajanagara, Bidar, Haveri, Hasana, Kodagu, Koppala and Bagalakote, the official said.

Three members of a family were found hanging at Tondur village of Savanur Taluk, Haveri, on Thursday over their inability to repay a loan of Rs 25 lakh, said police.
