A fresh controversy has erupted at the CG Bellad Government First Grade College in Akki Alur village of Haveri district in Karnataka, after groups of students arrived in classrooms wearing Hijabs and saffron shawls, prompting renewed tensions on campus.
The cases have been registered in Lokayukta police stations of Bengaluru City-1, Mysuru-1, Davanagere-1, Mandya-1, Bidar-1, Haveri-1, Dharwad-1, Gadag-1, Kodagu-1 and Shivamogga-1.
Describing the incident as "extremely heartbreaking," Bommai alleged that the Congress-led administration in Karnataka failed to provide even basic infrastructure, including proper hospital beds.
