Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot made an emotional appeal to voters on Tuesday as assembly elections draw near in the state. He urged voters to consider his image, even if the local candidate has limited impact, stating, "Imagine that I am contesting from all these 200 seats."
As the campaigning, mudslinging, and blame games have all intensified with the BJP attacking the incumbent Congress government in Rajasthan, the grand old party has accused the BJP of only abusing.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi came down heavily on the Congress government in Rajasthan and the party high command in the national capital over its guarantees to farmers in the poll-bound state.
With Prime Minister Narendra Modi holding roadshows and targeting Congress in his rallies on the issue of corruption and crimes against women in Rajasthan. While the Congress' key campaigners focused on the gurantees to woo voters to retain power in the state.
"Priyanka Gandhi who comes here time and again, keeps saying that she is giving guarantees. Give guarantees later, first ensure the safety of women in Rajasthan," Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said.
"The Congress party's social justice schemes and seven guarantees of economic empowerment are eradicating inequality in Rajasthan and will make Rajasthan more prosperous," Kharge added.

Telangana Home Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Mohd Mahmood Ali on Friday said that the Congress party's manifesto for the November 30 polls is 'useless and full of lies'.
"As far as the manifesto is concerned of Telangana Congress party, we should understand that they are giving so many freebies. They have to tell to the people how are they going to get the funds for it. That is the main issue," NV Subhas said.
Congress President Mallikarjun Khrage on Friday promised six guarantees to the people of Telangana while releasing its election manifesto for the southern state going to polls on November 30.
