"In a major breakthrough, Punjab Police have averted targeted attacks with the arrest of two operatives of a terror module backed by Pak-based terrorist Rinda and operated by US-based Gangster Happy Passia," DGP Yadav posted on X.
The terrorist module is backed by the militant outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and is being handled by Firdaus Ahmed Bhat, an active member of the Lashkar-e-Taiba.
According to officials, two IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices), two hand grenades, pistols, cartridges, detonators and batteries were recovered from them.
