Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in her Budget speech today, said that through rooftop solarization, one crore households will be enabled to obtain up to 300 units of free electricity every month.

Underlining his government's achievements, Kejriwal said his government, unlike in UP, is providing 24 uninterrupted power supply to the residents of Delhi.
The first day of the 'Gruha Jyothi' scheme providing up to 200 units of free electricity to all residential households in Karnataka, saw over 55,000 consumer registration, stated an official government release.
