Several Palestinians were hurt after Israeli police opened fire and used tear gas on them while they were participating in a protest on Gaza Strip's eastern border with Israel, reported Al Jazeera.
"The situation has been brought under control through coordinated actions by all stakeholders. IAF undertook continuous sorties from two airfields in Assam employing C17 Globemaster and AN 32 aircraft," Indian Army stated.
"Police are determined to maintain law and order. We are reaching every nook and corner of the city," Bathinda Superintendent of Police Gurvinder Singh said.
While speaking to ANI, the Mau Superintendent of Police Avinash Pandey said," We are keeping vigil. After looking at the sensitivity of the situation in the district we are on alert. We are talking to the public to maintain peace".
As many as 32 people were arrested in ongoing raids in connection with the violence during the Ram Navami celebrations and after, police informed on Sunday.
Sasaram DM Dharmendra Kumar said, "There was a bomb blast in Sasaram. Injured people were referred to BHU hospital. We're investigating all the angles right now."
"Bathinda Police is conducting a flag march at various places today. Its purpose is to instil confidence among people and that the situation is under control. Action has been taken as per law and we've also arrested some people," Bathinda SSP Gulneet Singh Khurana said.
"Police took out a flag march with paramilitary forces and the whole area was checked through drone regarding Holi and Shab-e-Barat in Moradabad," Hemraj Meena, senior superintendent of police (SSP) said.
