Amid chaos in the national capital over the implementation of CAA, the Delhi police along with the Central Paramilitary force held a flag march Delhi's Jagat Puri and Khureji Khas areas.
Security was beefed up in parts of Delhi following the implementation of rules for the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019, by the central government on Monday.
"The main motive of the flag march is that people can vote freely in the Assembly elections and exercise their constitutional rights... In critical areas, we are talking to people to make them feel safe," DCP Abhishek Anand told ANI.

Gulneet Singh Khurana, Senior Superintendent of Police, Bhatinda said, "Police are constantly on vigil. The police have also received a letter threatening a bomb blast at Bathinda on June 7 which is why the police have increased their vigilance in the crowded areas."
