Rathore, an MP from Jaipur Rural has been named as the party candidate from Jaipur's Jhotwara seat in the first list of 41 candidates for the upcoming Assembly polls.
The names of the candidates were finalised at a meeting of its Central Election Committee (CEC) that was chaired by the BJP President JP Nadda on October 1.

The party has fielded its SC Morcha national president, Lal Singh Arya from Gohad in Bhind district, and its national secretary, Omprakash Dhurwey, will contest the poll from Dindori's Shahpura assembly constituency.
