Aazad Samaj Party leader and Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad who was attacked by armed men on Wednesday, has demanded a judicial or Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) investigation into the case of the recent firing on him.

According to officials, the firing incident took place at CR Park area on Thursday evening. Sachin Gupta and Waseem Ahmad were travelling in a car when two unidentified men who were following them allegedly opened fire at their vehicle, leaving the former injured, the police said.
The incident occurred in front of a Maida Factory located on Jaura Road in the district at around 11 am on Thursday. The whole incident was captured in a CCTV camera installed near the spot.
