In a tragic incident, 8 people have been killed after an explosion took place at a firecracker manufacturing unit near Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district, an official said.
After six members of a family were charred to death in a fire in Darbhanga in Bihar on April 25, district authorities have said that the family of the victim will receive all help and a detailed investigation will follow up to avoid such incidents in future.

The State Human Rights Commission on Monday filed a voluntary case in the blast incident that claimed one life and left several injured at a firecracker storage unit in Kerala's Ernakulam district.
