Kailasagiri Ropeway charge spoke to ANI and said, "Dust was collected and set on fire here every day. Today, a tyre caught fire too and all the scrap was engulfed in fire. We stopped the ropeway and cleared the passengers. We closed this section and called the fire officials."
"A minor short circuit incident occurred at PVR Saket, leading to some smoke and a small fire. However, there was no damage, and the situation was quickly brought under control," said an official.
The fire that broke out at a scrap godown in a market in Ankleshwar, Bharuch on Monday is now under control, with no casualties reported, Bharuch Fire officials confirmed.
