The fire officials have managed to douse the fire that broke out at a wooden material factory near Hanuman Dharam Kanta, Nilothi village in the national capital on Friday night, a fire official said.
As a devastating fire has been raging in Jammu and Kashmir's Kaldi forest area for the past four days, Ghordi Block Development Council Chairperson Arti Sharma on Wednesday requested the administration to send fire brigades to douse this fire.
A woman sustained minor injuries while a significant loss of property was also reported after a massive fire broke out and swept through the three-storey M2k Mall at Delhi's Rohini, fire officials said.
"The fire broke out in the ground of the under-construction building of the Central Secretariat, where an iron container and wood and some chemical items were kept. At present, the fire has been brought under control," said DFS officials.
Fire official, Srinivas said, "The fire broke out in Ravi Foods. Six fire engines reached the spot to douse the blaze. There have been no causalities reported until now. This incident happened today early in the morning at 5 am. Efforts are underway to control the fire."
