New Delhi [India], May 23 (ANI): A woman sustained minor injuries while a significant loss of property was also reported after a massive fire broke out and swept through the three-storey M2k Mall at Delhi's Rohini, fire officials said.

Ajay Sharma, an official in the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), said, "We got information of a fire breaking out at 8:45 pm. As many as 12 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. Some people were evacuated through the back door."
"The reason for the fire can only be determined after the investigation. It is being said that a woman suffered minor injuries and was administered first aid. However, she was rescued and shifted from the spot in a PCR van before the arrival of the fire brigade," the fire officer added.

Sharing further details about the fire, the official added, "The mall had a basement, ground floor and three more floors above. The fire did not spread to the basement where some furniture work was underway. The ground floor had an eyewear showroom, which was engulfed in the fire."
"The first floor, which houses a service centre, suffered partial damage while the second and third floors, from where a spa was operated, were completely gutted in the fire," the officer added.
This is a developing story and further details are awaited (ANI)
