India will formally assume the G20 presidency starting today, thereby beginning a unique opportunity for the country to contribute to the global agenda on pressing issues of international importance. India also assumes the monthly rotating Presidency of the UNSC from today.
In response to a question from ANI, Ackermann said, "The German government has taken note of the Indian government's concern in this case. We are very well aware of the gravity of the issue. It is always a very problematic moment when you take a baby away from their parents."
The expert said that India and Australia will come closer with opening of agriculture and food, as well as important strategic areas like critical minerals.
